Where ABAQUS Geotechnical Skills Are Used

ABAQUS is the most powerful FEA platform for advanced geotechnical analysis — from nonlinear soil modelling and seismic response to complex soil-structure interaction. Here's where your skills will take you.

01

🏗️ Soil-Structure Interaction & Deep Foundations

ABAQUS is used by geotechnical engineers at L&T, Tata Projects, and AECOM to simulate nonlinear pile behaviour, raft foundation response, and lateral load analysis for high-rise towers, bridges, and offshore jacket structures under complex loading conditions.

L&T Tata Projects AECOM Arup

02

🌍 Seismic & Dynamic Geotechnical Analysis

Nuclear power plants, dam safety authorities, and metro rail agencies including NPCIL, NTPC, and DMRC rely on ABAQUS for dynamic soil response, liquefaction potential studies, and seismic SSI analysis where standard tools fall short.

NPCIL NTPC DMRC BARC

03

🌊 Dams, Tunnels & Underground Structures

ABAQUS is trusted by dam engineers, tunnel designers, and global consultancies at WAPCOS, Fugro, and Jacobs for advanced constitutive soil modelling, creep analysis in soft ground tunnels, and coupled hydro-mechanical simulation of earth dams and embankments.
