What You Will Learn - ANSYS Workbench

What You Will Learn

Navigate the ANSYS Workbench interface, import CAD, prepare geometry, and define materials for seamless simulation workflows.

Generate high-quality meshes (tetrahedral, hexahedral), control mesh density and element quality, and apply refinement where it matters most.

Perform static structural, modal, and buckling analyses to evaluate stress, deformation, natural frequencies, and stability of components and assemblies.

Set up thermal and coupled thermal–structural simulations (conduction, convection, radiation) to study temperature effects and stress coupling.

Execute CFD using Workbench-linked solvers (or compatible fluid modules) and interpret results — velocity, pressure, turbulence fields, and performance metrics.

Develop design-optimisation workflows: parametric studies, design points, sensitivity analysis, and techniques to reduce weight/cost while improving performance.

Course Overview

PIGSO Learning ANSYS Workbench Online Course build your simulation toolkit from scratch. Starting with fundamentals of finite-element method (FEA) and multiphysics simulation, the course progresses through geometry modelling, meshing strategies, solver selection, and post-processing of results.

We bring real-world case studies such as structural brackets, pressure vessels or thermal systems to illustrate workflow from CAD import through to design optimisation. With live instructor sessions, downloadable study files and online support, this ANSYS Workbench training is ideal for engineers looking to upskill, transition into simulation roles, or apply ANSYS Workbench in industry-grade product development.
